Manuel Antonio National Park of Costa Rica has 683 hectares boast some of the country's most varied and breathtaking scenery. Surrounded by lush, very wet tropical forest of Costa Rica, the park's trails offer sightings of white-faced monkeys, sloths, coatis, raccoons, iguanas and many bird species in the jungle of Costa Rica, as well as the Costa Rican squirrel monkey (Saimiri oerstedii citrinellus), which is endemic to Manuel Antonio—that is, it is found only in this part of the world. Increasingly endangered, at last count these monkeys numbered only 1,500.
The National Park also protects 12 islands that serve as excellent refuges for several seabird species, as well as several stunning beaches (Espadilla Sur, Manuel Antonio and Puerto Escondido), a 14-hectare lagoon and a mangrove swamp. Connecting Manuel Antonio and Espadilla Sur beaches of Costa Rica, Punta Catedral is a place of great beauty of Costa Rica.

Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in San José.
After arriving in San José you will be transferred to Hotel City One. Upon arrival at the Hotel make yourself familiar with its facilities. Take the opportunity and discover the historical city center or have dinner in the beautiful Caribbean Loft Restaurant of hotel City One and enjoy its entertainment facilities.
Hotel City One - (Standard Room, double occupancy, breakfast.)
Day 2 - Trip to Irazú Volcano.
After a healthy breakfast prepare for the tour to Irazú Volcano which is the tallest active volcano in Costa Rica. Wildlife in Irazú is very scarce; near the summit you can see rabbits, coyotes, armadillos and porcupines as well as weasels and tiger cats. Don't forget to watch out for all the different bird species Irazú has to offer. You will return to your Hotel in San José in the afternoon.
Hotel City One - (Standard Room, double occupancy, breakfast.)
Day 3 - Arrival in Manuel Antonio.
Today your tour continues with a transfer by mini bus or plane to Manuel Antonio which is so popular because of its extensive white sand beaches backed by an evergreen forest that grows right up to the high tide line. Day 4 - Discover Manuel Antonio.
Today you either explore Manuel Antonio by yourself or go on the tour you booked the day before. Manuel Antonio contains a charming combination of rain forest, beaches and coral reefs. So do not hesitate to explore them.
Hotel California - (Deluxe Room, double occupancy, breakfast.)
Day 5 - Extend or travel back to San José.
Extend your stay, or transfer back to San José , by plane or in a mini bus. Use your last day in Costa Rica to shop for souvenirs before you have to catch your flight back home.
