Pacific and the Caribbean
This destiny of Costa Rica stretches from the city of Puntarenas to the mouth of the Río Barú in the area known as Dominical de Osa. It has three cities attractive to tourists and well developed for tourism and adventure in Costa Rica: Quepos, Jacó and Puntarenas.
The destiny also comprises the islands in the Gulf of Nicoya, as these are mainly accessed from Puntarenas. A wet and rainy climate allows for greater flora and fauna of Costa Rica in the beaches of Costa Rica and hills next to the coast; thus, there is a transition from tropical wet forest to tropical forest of Costa Rica to tropical dry forest of Costa Rica.
These ecosystems provide adventure and habitat for numerous plant and animal species that are protected in several wilderness areas. Also included within this zone is Isla del Coco, which, though almost 600 kilometers from the port of Puntarenas, falls under this province's jurisdiction.
Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in San José.
We will pick up at the Airport and transfer you to the Hotel in San José.
Upon arrival at your Hotel take the opportunity to make yourself familiar with the Hotel facilities or simply relax a little bit.
Day 2 - Irazú Volcano.
After a healthy breakfast prepare for the tour to the Volcano Irazú. Return to your Hotel in San José in the afternoon.
Day 3 - Arrival in Manuel Antonio.
Transfer by plane or in mini bus to Manuel Antonio. Once you arrive in Manuel Antonio enjoy the spectacular views and if you wish contact us to arrange additional tours.
Day 4 - Discover Manuel Antonio.
Explore Manuel Antonio by yourself or go on the tour you booked the day before.
Day 5 - Arrival in Bocas del Toro.
Today we will depart by plane to Bocas del Toro in Panama, where our Uniq Traveling representative already awaits you to assist you in planning any additional tours you might be interested in.
Days 6 - Explore Bocas del Toro.
Explore the many islands of Bocas del Toro on your selected tour, or discover Bocas on your own.
Day 7 - Arrival in Puerto Viejo.
Get ready for a boat trip to Changuinola where our bus awaits you to bring you over the border and then subsequently to Puerto Viejo, where our Uniq Traveling guide welcomes you at your Hotel inviting you to enjoy your welcome cocktail and he will take your requests in regards of additional tours. Our guide will then take you on an orientation tour, to show you around.
Hotel Azania - (Standard Bungalow, double occupancy, breakfast.)
Day 8 - Enjoy Puerto Viejo.
After a healthy breakfast get ready for the tour you have selected the day before, or just enjoy the Caribbean sun.

Day 9 - Arrival in Tortuguero.
Today we will visit Tortugero, therefore we will first bring you by bus to the boat dock, from where you take a scenic boat ride to Tortugero.
Once there, you will check in your Hotel and you have the rest of the day to yourself.
Day 10 - Tortuguero National Park.
Today your guide will take you to the village of Tortugero and the National Park ($7 entrance fee for the park).
Enjoy the exuberant flora and fauna of this remote region of Costa Rica.
Day 11 - Departure.
Early in the morning take the plane back to San José, where you -according to your return flight- can either be directly transferred to the airport to catch your flight home, or stay one more night in San José. We will then take you to the airport the next day.
