Quepos and Tambor
The region's main attractions are its coast and protected wilderness areas. The visit of Costa Rica is made up of numerous beautiful beaches of Costa Rica, several of which are less than two hours from San José, allowing for quick access. With regard to wilderness areas, the region features wildlife refuges, national parks and flora and fauna of Costa Rica.
Other important attractions of Costa Rica are of cultural and recreational interest, including the various organized events —especially sporting events— that distinguish the region for vacation. Also worthy of note is the majestic beauty of Costa Rica along the coastal highway that connects the Caldera area with the Quepos and Manuel Antonio region with the facilities of Costa Rica.
Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in San José.
After arriving in San José you will be transferred to Hotel City One. Upon arrival at the Hotel, make yourself familiar with the hotel facilities or simply relax a little.
Take the opportunity to see the city center of San José and don't miss the beautiful Caribbean Loft Restaurant of the hotel City One.
Day 2 - Irazú Volcano.
After a healthy breakfast prepare for the tour to Irazú Volcano which is the tallest active volcano in Costa Rica. Wildlife in Irazú is very scarce; near the summit you can see rabbits, coyotes, armadillos and porcupines as well as weasels and tiger cats. Don't forget to watch out for all the different bird species Irazú has to offer. You will return to your Hotel in San José in the afternoon.
Day 3 - Arrival in Manuel Antonio.
Today your tour continues with a transfer by mini bus or plane to Manuel Antonio which is so popular because of its expensive white sand beaches backed by an evergreen forest that grows right up to the high tide line. Day 4 - Discover Manuel Antonio.
Explore Manuel Antonio by yourself or go on the tour you booked the day before. Manuel Antonio contains a charming combination of rain forest, beaches and coral reefs so do not hesitate to discover them.
Day 5 - Extend or travel back to San José.
Extend your stay, or transfer back to San Jose , by plane or in a mini bus. Use your last day in Costa Rica to shop for souvenirs before you have to catch your flight back home.
Extension
Days 6 to 8 - Relax and discover Tambor.
Let you be pampered at the All Inclusive Resort, relax on the beautiful sandy beaches or participate in our additional tours. There are also facilities for a number of sports, such as beach volleyball, table tennis, aerobics, boogie boards, scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking and fishing.
Day 9 - Extend or travel back to San José.
Extend your stay or transfer back to San José , either by plane or mini bus. Take advantage of your last day in Costa Rica to shop for souvenirs.
Day 10 - Departure.
Enjoy your last breakfast in Costa Rica, because very soon we will bring you to the airport, where you will catch your flight back home.
