Arenal Volcano Hike
We will start our morning with a short walk to the wharf and take our boat for some dolphin watching at Dolphin Bay near Cristobal Island. Then, we will continue our journey to Cayo.
Coral for some snorkeling where we will have the opportunity to observe impressive choral formation as well as rich marine fauna. After a recess, we will go to Red Frog Beach in Bastimentos.
At our arrival we will be crossing the island until arriving to the beach on other side. Also, we will be able to observe the famous tiny red frogs known scientifically as Dendrobates Pumilio.

Safari Float Trip - Peñas Blancas River
Early morning we depart from the wharf to Choral Cay, the best area for snorkeling in the whole archipelago due to its impressive choral reef, crystal water and a huge variety of tropical fish of incredible colors. Then, we will move to Zapatillas Key formed by two beautiful islands located on a choral platform.
These two islands are defined to the open ocean by the crashing waves on the reef. They are famous for their beautiful beaches and small shady forests.

Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge
We will go to Red Frog Beach in Bastimentos. At our arrival we will be crossing the island until arriving to the beach on other side. Also, we will be able to observe the famous tiny red frogs known scientifically as Dendrobates Pumilio. Then we will be visiting Hospital Point which is a close and small place with a great diversity of attractions. We will be able to snorkel in the reef nearby, or swim and rest in the protected small beach.
Hospital Point was the place where the main hospital of the region (owned by the United Fruit Company) was established in 1899, standing there until 1920 when was moved to Almirante Port due to the fungus attack to the whole plantations.

Venado Caves
We will visit Boca Drago which is almost in the opposite side of Colón Island. At our arrival we will find a road that crosses the island completely. Boca Drago is on the borders of the sea. It is the site where Admiral Christopher Columbus first touched land. Boca Drago is ideal for swimming and snorkeling. On the island, there are Footpaths to walk around and beaches with crystal water where the starfish can be seen. We will pass by Punta Caracol where there are beautiful sceneries of the bay and pristine water.
Finally we will visit Isla Pájaros. More than an island it looks like a gigantic rock in the middle of the ocean. It is of a vital importance for the continental ecosystem preservation. Here rest most of the migratory birds that travel long distances during the changes of the season in the continent. They travel from north to south and vice versa looking for more propitious climates when the winter gets worse. This island is home for about 50 different species of birds depending on the season.

Horseback Riding to La Fortuna Waterfall
We will visit Boca Drago which is almost in the opposite side of Colón Island. At our arrival we will find a road that crosses the island completely. On the island, there are Footpaths to walk around and beaches with crystal water where the starfish can be seen. Then we will go to Playa Las Estrellas which is next Drago. On this beach of transparent and tranquil water we can observe the beautiful starfish in beautiful colors.
Finally we will visit Isla Pájaros which, more than an island, looks like a gigantic rock in the middle of the ocean. It is of a vital importance for the continental ecosystem preservation. Tour in Catamarán to Dolphin bay and Coral Key.
This tour starts at 9:30 am approximately. First, we will go with our catamaran to Dolphin Bay where we will be able to see the famous bottled nose dolphin. After this great experience we will continue navigating to a choral reef near the mangroves for some snorkeling.
This reef is unique because of its tranquil water and full of colorful marine sponge and coral. After this activity we have a box lunch and then we will continue our journey to Coral Key where we will find a great variety of corals, angelfish and mero fish.

Birdwatching Tour
We will start our tour approximately at 9:30 am navigating towards Boca Drago. On our way, we will do a technical stop at Punta Caracol Bay for some swimming and snorkeling. We can enjoy the amazing and colorful coral and fish. Then, we will depart to Boca Drago which is almost in the opposite side of Colón Island. We will spend the rest of the day on this area and also enjoying the beautiful beach.
