Canopy Tour
The Arenal Volcano tour transports guests to the active northwest side of the volcano. The tour begins with a hike and depending upon which side of the volcano the lava is flowing, we go either to the trail “Los Tucanes” at the National Park or Mirador El Silencio.
It is possible to observe a great variety of plants, wildlife, magnificent lava rock formations and the Arenal Lake just in time for sunset!. During the tour, our experienced guides will provide interesting and educational information regarding the history of the majestic mountain and the Arenal Volcano National Park.

Indian
The guide will pick you up in front of your hotel to depart by car towards the Bri Bri reservation. We will leave the car there and we will start a hike that will take you to a still virgin jungle thanks to the integration of the Bri Bri people with the nature. We will get then to a waterfall where you can swim and enjoy of a natural Jacuzzi.
We will continue visiting the town of Uatsi where you will visit a rancho Bri Bri, a medical plants garden and will have the possibility to know more about the way of living and the handcrafts of this tribe.
On the way back we will stop at an Iguana Farm, in the Kekoldi Indian Reserve.

Snorkeling
We will pick you up at your hotel at 8:30 am and depart towards the village of Cahuita. There we meet the captain and the guide who will take you by boat to the coral reef where your are going snorkeling for two hours in two different points of the National Park.
The coral reef of Cahuita National Park includes more or less 240 habitats. There are 123 different species of fishes, 44 species of crustaceans, 140 shellfish and 1281 various algies identified. We can also observe 35 different coral species such as the fire coral, the red and black coral which is unique in this area. Regarding the park, we will have the opportunity to see the vegetation coast and to observe animals such as sloths, monkeys, and snakes.
After that we will go back to the beach to have a rest and where they will give you some drinks and fruits before starting the walk through the National Park. In this guided hike, which last about 1 ½ hours you will be able to see the different animals and vegetation which live in the area and to learn about the history of Cahuita. At the end of the walk the car will take you back to your Hotel.

Rafting
We will depart from your hotel at 7:00 am and leave toward Siquirres by car. There we will meet the rafting agency bus which will take you down to the Pacuare river where boats and guides we will be waiting to enjoy the fantastic adventure. We offer you class III-IV going down 28 kms of rapids where the fun is definitely guaranteed.
After the rafting we will enjoy lunch in Siquirres and from there we will return to Puerto Viejo or to San José which is previously decided.
